Drafty Tower Loft-Attic-Thing?

Returning to Blender after a very long time away. I always felt a little lost when I opened up Blender, so I’m here to get a better grasp on things.

Made a room under the roof of a tower. Not really sure how to present it. Not very good at compositions.

Made some of the tiles invisible to show it looking from the outside in…

Very nice and old skills are still there!

Might be some face overlap topology problems on the floor, there is some hashing visible.
Oh, and your roof will collapse if real, whole rows of unsupported tiles!
Clearly, the occupants are hard wearing on furniture legs! Nice touches. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Yeah, I shoulda made more supports for the roof tiles xD

The tiles in the floor were a sorta random happenstance. I had to come up with something to fill in the gap after I made the stairwell. After I realised I’d spent more than an hour just on tweaking the angles on the first cylinder (the pentagon one) so it would fit with the duplicates in a 360 arc, I sorta just eyeballed the outer arc of cylinders (the triangles) <.<

Probably woulda been faster and more accurate if I were any good at trigonometry :stuck_out_tongue:

Amazing! am inspired to do one now
