Double collision floor?

so i followed the setting shown in the video and encountered this problem

Godot_v4.1.2-stable_win64_TK1MegbyOc

settings as follows:

not sure what the one way margin does but it is the same whether i use 1 or 0.1

any ideas how to fix this?

just checked the other 2 platforms and they show the same behavior

hmm seems to apply to any corner …

well i found the “bug” …


my character has 2 collision shapes
head and body …

was that the cause of the issue?

was the original problem that it wasnt falling down between the two gaps of the platform and the head collider getting stuck on corners?

yes the head was the issue
once i removed the head collision shape it was working properly
