Do we need to check 'Simulate Physics' for the ball, the floor, or both?

Hi. Do both surfaces need to have physics attached to them, or only one of them? Based on my testing I could not find a difference, but wanted to get confirmation.

Thanks.

Hi Stout,

You should only need simulate physics for the ball. If you were to simulate physics for the floor (and assuming gravity was enabled for that object), then the floor would continually fall down through the world.

Hi Tuomo,
Gotchya. That makes sense. Thank you for the clear explanation. Just learned something new today.
Cheers.
