Do I have to install VS Community (Unity Hub) if I have a better version?

As explained above. I’m just starting Unity 2D course and in the Unity hub I can install VS Community edition, but I have a license for VS Profesional. Do I need to have the additional Community installation for Unity to work or can I skip that part and Unity will find my VS installation and work with it?

Nope no need to install the Community version, just make sure to set it the Pro edition in Unity from Edit => Preferences => External Tools => External Script Editor for it to work. Welcome to the community : )
