Q: 9 - 3 / 1/3 +1 = ?
A: i think it 1 because 3 /(1/3) = 9 (9/1) then 9 - 9 and 0 + 1 = 1.

There are no parenthesis in the question so I would read it as ((9 - ((3 /1) /3)) + 1) which would give you the answer of 9.
I do see the different spacing between the 3 and the 1/3. Mathematically, spaces don’t make a difference.
bb1223344 is right in this case. It does not only have to do with parenthesis. We have a order for operations.
- Parenthesis
- Power/square roots
- Multiplication/division
- Adding/substracting.
In this case we first have to do the division and thereafter the adding/substracting.
The answer is indeed 1.
After seeing the image of the problem I see the 1/3 is grouped together so it is divide a fraction so flip and multiply. I do now agree that the correct result is 1.
