Division: Anwser for equation

9 - 3 / 1/3 +1 = ?

To find anwser for this equation first you will have to do division 3 / 1/3. Why is that? Because the order of doing action in equation is: first you have to do division/multiplication then you can do addition/subtraction.

So how much is 3 / 1/3 ?

If you are doing division, and your number is divided by fraction. It’s the same as you will be doing multiplication of this numer with reciprocal of this fraction.

In other words: 3 / 1/3 is the same as 3 * 3/1 so it is 3 * 3 = 9.

Right now we left with addition and subtraction. So we left with:

9 - 9 + 1 = 1

Anwser for this equation is: 1.
