I was wondering why this has happened? I’ve tried smoothing and moving individual nodes, the tram lines run all the way up the inner seam.
Is it worth deleting the affected faces and rebuilding them?

A friend of mine whom i’m doing this course with had that problem as well.
The normals are facing into the wrong direction - so basically facing inside of the model.
If you select them or just press A to select all you can press F3 and then search “recalculate outside”
or you can use Shift + N as shortcut.

Well solved. It may well have been normals back to front as suggested. But remaking also got the job done.
Looking to be coming on well.
