My selection outline checkbox is greyed out
Im using Unity 2021.3.9f1
Theres no tooltip popping up to let me know how to enable selection

Hi Kontroll,
According to the Unity manual, that option is available in the Scene window only. In your screenshot, is the Gizmos of the Game window clicked?

Aha, yes that allows me to do it. It wasn’t the same type of button, as in “gizmos” in the scene window as it is in the game window. For anyone reading this in the future its the button that looks like a sphere cut into 4 hemispheres. Click the drop down button
