Alone, Lost, Terrified, Killable

I want my players to feel lost, but still with a small bit of hope of finding the way. I also want them to feel both alone and terrified, as if anything could be coming round the corner. Lastly, I don’t want them to feel unstoppable. In fact, quite the contrary. I want them to feel like they need to be careful, because they can die quite easily.

This, so much this. I’m wanting to create a game that gives off the same vibe felt around the table of CoC.
