I had a dream; dancing cubes, swirling around the world. Using just a turbulence force field in combination with a vortex force field. The vortex rotates and the turbulence waves them back and forth. And one of those cubes emits a light.
The gravity was set nearly to 0 (positive, going up). And the cubes mass very low. You get the feeling if they are floating in water.
This animation of 1000 active cubes, consists of 450 frames. With a render time of more then 60 hours. Using a resolution of 800x600. And a sampling of 700, because of the fireflies. But I think the fireflies got too much attention. They are visible in a still, but as part of the animation, they get blurry.
