Cycles: Fog render issue

Can someone please help me with this fog rendering? The image on the left is what Blender shows me with Cycles preview rendering, but when i render everything is messed up (image on the right).

Is the viewport view using the scene world and scene lighting ? In the dropdown to the right of the render spere icons top right of the menu bar.

Nope, it´s the render preview viewport with cycles, and it looks exactly as i want it, but when i render it (right image) everything is messed up.

Do you have objects, lamps switched off during render - Camera vs. Eye icon?

But how is it rendering it? Like the full render or with the inbuilt hdri?

Full render no inbuilt hdri. The fog looks good in the preview cycles rendering, but the actual rendering is totally different. I was thinking that maybe the cycles settings but be tweaked somehow.

Look at the image that @NP5 posted. Does your settings look like that? Yes or No? If they don’t then check the 2 check boxes like they are in the image.

Yeap, got the two boxes checked, but still the same, the rendering is completely different from the preview.

Do you use the Blender compositor (post processing)?

Open e new Blender file.
Append cloud object and test
Append more lamps and test

i did for the bloom effect. Should it tweak something else?

Do you mean ‘Bloom’ effect for EEVEE?

I’m confused (maybe a feature in the new version of Blender?).
Normally bloom/glow effects for Cycles are generated in the compositor.

General Q&A note

Help us all to help you.
Please give full screenshots with any questions. With the relevant panels open.
This can be done by Blender itself, via the ‘Window’ menu bar top left-hand side.
On that menu dropdown is ‘save screenshot’.

people… i´ve just found out what was the problem… ready to laugh? i left the Sunlight Off for the rendering, that´s why the fog was not visible… sorry, i should have checked it first.
but thanks anyway for the support.

I told you so, in my first post (check eye and camera icon).

Maybe worth knowing, bloom is entirely a compositor effect (eevee as well as cycles) as of Blender 4.2.
