I always had this grainy light problem, with cycle in my projects.
Evee was better than cycle in this case.

Cycles needs setting up slightly differently so you may need more light in the scene, As more lights not strength.
One of the features in Cycles is a denoiser but it can double the render times so at this stage we really dont want to increase out render times when we are prototyping so we leave it turned off.
Denoiser will be covered later on when we render the images out later in the section
