Cuberpillar

My secondary action challenge: the Cuberpillar.
It took way more time than I envisioned: at first I tried to control the sliding motion with a single bone and the maintain volume constraint, but with the graph editor I couldn’t make the tail stand still while the head slid forward; in the end I added a bone for the head and another for the tail.
A that point I thought it should have a proper texture and then I thought that it would be nice if the eyes and mouth didn’t just squash with the rest of the face and then I thought that he was a bit too serious, so I added the smile at the and of the animation.
I think it took a little less than four hours to do everything, but I’m rather happy with how it turned out

Great achievement, it’s a really cool dude!.
For the very few vertices you manage, the movement is very convincing.
