I hope I didn’t miss any other fix to this, but for me the crouching animations were prevented while aiming with Mike’s approach. Combined crouch and aiming just appeared to work if crouching was started first and because we have been using aiming animations for crouching in the first place. It starts looking worse with the camera changes in the next lecture.
I fixed the issue for me by adding an “OR is crouching now” to the transitions out from the aiming states:
