So I downloaded a reference image of a bowling pin, but there is some space at the top and bottom of the image. How can I crop the image? I couldn’t find anything in the properties menu.

I usually do that sort of preparation in whatever 2D graphics app I happen to have handy. In my case, it’s usually Photoshop. I don’t know of any way to do that within Blender.
