Course Idea: Battle Royale In Unreal Engine 5.4 or 5.5?

Would love to see a battle royale game similar in style to PUBG, Apex, Fortnite, and H1Z1, developed on UE 5.4–5.5 using Blueprints and some C++ for functions/loot rates.

With some of these core elements of the game (BELOW):

  1. Between 10–100 players can play the game (they will sit in a separate area/lobby near the battle island).
  2. Players will drop from a smoking cargo plane or a custom vehicle of our choice—to give it a unique touch.
  3. Players need to gather guns, ammo, attachments, and medical supplies scattered around the map, including houses and buildings (PUBG STYLE). The goal is to eliminate enemies and reach the top spot to be hailed the Battle Royale King.
  4. Customizable circle or an option to modify the play zone—allowing us to make it unique. Otherwise, we can use the default play zone circle and customize its color to match our taste.
  5. As the circle shrinks, it will deal increasing damage over time. Different phases (Phase 1, 2, 3, etc.), with the final phase being lethal within seconds if you don’t enter the safe zone immediately.
  6. Custom notifications when you reach the #1 spot in solo, duo, or squad mode. Also, notifications when reaching a specific phase in the game, such as top 10, top 30, etc.

Some additions:

  • A cool loading screen before reaching the main menu.
  • A stylish game UI with button effects for a polished look.
  • A settings tab to customize video, audio, display, and other settings with a SAVE option.
  • Other PUBG-style mechanics that enhance the experience.

EXTRA:
Admin Tools:

  • Announcement Function – Mass announcements to players in the main menu/game.
  • Ban Tool, Time-Out Tool, Name Change Tool – Other admin functions appropriate for a battle royale game.
