Confession...I dont understand scaling :(

Why is sphere scaling 2.6?? I really don’t get it…I didn’t quite understand scaling of pins either so can someone help me? I understand it needs to be scaled and why but I am clueless when it comes to its logic… Sorry I will probably say to myself: what an idiot once I get answer but at this moment I cant understand the logic :frowning:

It was a mistake, in the video. You are not supposed to scale it at 2.6. The diameter of the ball needs to be 21.6 cm, so, you neet to scale it to 1.08. That’s because, the ball starts at 2 blender unities (in this case, that is 20 cm since we are using 1 BU = 10 cm). So, if you multiply 1.08 by 2, you get 2.16. That is 21.6 cm. The teacher adresses this mistake in the further lessons.
