Here’s the part where I show my progress.
To me these islands look like a crab’s pincers, so I’d considered calling this proposed fictional country Cancer; composed of the islands Alpha Cancri and Beta Cancri. What do people think?
Perhaps I should name it something a bit less ill-sounding? Or maybe I could create a whole set of islands for the zodiac? (eventually)
One thing to know about me is that I like UV mapping and texturing everything (the UV maps are very wip). I’m hoping to try out my skills at tiled textures on these islands later.
Perhaps I could update this thread with further progress to this project?
