Has anyone used them? Saw something called rendercore which seemed like quite an attractive alternative to waiting 4 hours for 2 mins of footage!
I’ve not used them, but there’s a noise-reduction option in Blender 2.79 (possibly 78 too) , which means you can use fewer samples, especially in video where perfectly sharp images are less important. Should bring down your render time significantly.
