Closing unreal erased variable data

so i had everything working fine, even the movement fix when the block moved you down the map…

my problem is, my computer restarted. (everything was saved, kind of) when i reopened both VSC and unreal, the platforms no longer moved. none of the information i changed stayed…is this supposed to be how it is?

cause that dont seem right to me.

ok so after some trial and error, ive figured out that in order to keep the changes (for my case at least)
you need to save unreal, after exiting, save VSC, in my case VSC needs to be opened first, then unreal. and thats able to keep all information i changed
