When I hit 0 to go into camera mode Most of my model is being clipped out? I’m familiar with this problem in Maya, but don’t know how to fix it with Blender?

You should be able to alter the clipping from the camera’s object data properties.
Adjust clip start and clip end and this should solve the issue

Use also the dot '.'on your numpad, when scrolling into the object fails.
It resets the view portzoom.
