On the very rare occassion that I would do a final piece, I always go digital but sometimes bristol board. I can’t highly recommend using a clipboard and cheap printer paper enough. It’s way less expensive than buying a sketchbook.

It’s quite human to do so. Students like Blender, see impressive things. And immediately think they need a high-end graphics card. The same for drawings. But I had a friend who said, I don’t do the challenges because it cost me too much printer paper …
