I did a sphere from a cube.
Went for the smallest of the bowling balls. 21,59cm. Scaled for 2,159 BUs. The took in consideration that the sphere from a cube downscales by 6%. So in my mind that should become ~2.289 BUs. Did I misunderstand? If so, the ball will be a tad larger than the allowed real thing.
