Chinese Dragon with Fine Details

Here we go with Fine details added, it feels like it is really coming together.

Oo cool!
Are you using an alpha to help with all the detail, or doing it more by hand?

By hand at the moment

I’m unfamiliar with the course, but just in case Grant doesn’t mention it, here’s where I tend to look for alphas:

ZBrush :: Resource Center (pixologic.com)

By hand is a great way to practice though, it’s easy to become too reliant on just alphas. Ideally it becomes a mixture of the two techniques. I can see how you’re working on the skin folding and wrinkling, looks good! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Great, Komodo dragon like.

Using alphas in Blender I find it very difficult, confusing and (on my machine) slow.

Ah, yeah it’s not a very intuitive implementation. Another thing to add to the wish list of improvements :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Nice =)
