Chinese chess Rook

Today I finished tweaking my design for my Rook piece, modelled after fort towers and other similar architecture found in china during and around the Han Dynasty period. with some additional tweaks and simplifications. was really looking forward to making this piece, it was what inspired me to do this theme from the beginning and i’m very happy with how it turned out. Now just the king and textures left to do then the set can be assembled! :grimacing:

Nice work. Looks great. LOVE it :star_struck:. I like the roof structure very much. You should make a palace or temple or something with a roof like that after you complete the course . It will be soo cool .

I forgot to ask, what is the poly count of the top(not including the chess piece base)?

just under 5k, the bases are all around 3-4k. This one has certainly been my highest poly count so far though shouldn’t be to much hopefully
