ChessBoard Sorround Challenge

I choose “generated” (texture->mapping) becouse in my “chessboard sorround” the UV texture option looks like a little bit weird and i don’t know why.

I have touch the “image mapping option” but the result don’t look better after changing it.
Maybe i assign material in a bad way? Bad selection before it?

I’m not sure what you want to tell, but it probably is.
UVmaps can generated with several options. But manual tweaking for the optimal effect is most of the time needed.
You will learn this in this course!

It’s also possible to solve this, using a procedural texture / material.
