Here is my board base rendered in both eevee and cycles. I put a few arcs in my bevel and then scaled some of links from there, applying smooth shading only around those shoulder-pad-like corners (wanted dome definition put felt those were too blocky without).
Now for the board textures, I used wave and voronoi (the one for stars – catches light pretty weird too turning the black to red). The board looks kind of psychedelic now.
