Chess_set_materials and queen update

Just made the pawn. I am curious how the other will look like.

The high poly pawn looks much nicer, isn’t it.

I added my low poly bishop to this discussion that my work progress can be easily followed.

I played around with the lighting as proposed. Not very dramatic, but good enough for a outdoor chess game in the early afternoon.

I tried to make the tiles of the chess board look like marble and granite. The marble I think is good but the granite needs some improvement.

Low ploy can actually look nicer in some cases, but I tend to like high poly details myself. Good job.

Thanks a lot! I agree that in fact in some occasions the low poly can look nicer, but in this case I like the more realistic shape.
