Once I started putting textures in the scene, I realized the pieces were a little too low poly for what the scene became. The result is some harsh edges on what should be smooth parts of the models. They look pretty good from a distance, but have quite a lot of problems when you get the camera too close. I’m sure that’s a good lesson in itself. You can get away with a surprisingly low-detail model if it’s going to be off in the distance.
