For an outside scene, I think the sun color is too white.

Are you using a sun lamp type?
Change angle for softer / harder shadows.
Also work with world lighting.

Looing good the table planks have different wood each. They ought to be slightly bevelled, its too perfectly sharp.

No I used point lights sunlamp I found I always had to adjust too much for each render
