Nice looking chess pieces and board.Great use of depth of field too. Great job.Nice lighting by the way.
If you increase the depth of field value a teeny tiny bit and setup the camera to show more pieces it will make the scene much more awesome.
(When setting the depth of field value, if you make sure the most blurred out object(the object which is farthest away from the depth of field object) can be distinguished by its blurred shape it will make the scene look more efficient and amazing. But it is just my opinion though. It is not a rule or anything.)

Good control of depth of field, isolates those central pawns well.
