Well Slowly getting through the Chess set section. Added a podium and a ground plane. going to need to look for a few other things to tweak it with. Not sure I’m liking the lighting either though.

Sometimes less is more.
At the beginning of the course, people want to use everything that they know or can use.
Choose a style and expand from that point on.

I can agree with the idea of less is more in a lot of situations. I think that a lot of beginners are using so many techniques during the course is due to a couple of things 1) they are trying to practice all of the skills they learn to hopefully lock them in and 2) they may simply lack the experience to understand where to draw the line. That’s at least how I feel and how I look at things.
