Chess board (with a twist)

I probably could have done this with an array on a circular curve…but it was much easier and faster to add a circle mesh with six vertices, subdivide the outer edges, remove the original centerlines, then subdivide the remaining edges.

Scaled using the edge-length measurement option to make sure the outer quad edges are the right size, and extruded just to make the angle of the shot mess with your perception of whether it’s ‘flat’ even more :wink:

Inspired me to make quad filled various polygons.
Took a while to work it out but got the hang of it making one section and rotating it.

Almost feel there should be a default option for quad filled as well as the fan fill!
