I went ahead and modelled all the pieces before continuing the lectures. But anyway, since I’m going for a stylized chess set, I was going to just leave the board black, but after putting a wood texture on it, I’m kind of leaning more towards that now. Not sure, can’t decide. I included an Eevee and Cycles render to compare them both.
