I’ve been working on two different sets of pieces, one for the class and one because I wanted some square based chess pieces. Here’s the two sides facing off at sunset. Rendered in Cycles because when I switched it over to Blender Render, for some reason the chessboard would not render. (The camera icon in the Outliner changed nothing when clicked on or off). If anyone has any ideas why the board would be hidden in Blender Render, I would like to hear them so I can give that a try. Thanks.

The chessboard would not render because the materials for it were made with Cycles, and so were invisible in Blender Render. I just made a couple of new materials that work in Blender Render and it shows up just fine.
