Check the normals of the faces after spin

Be careful when using the spin tool, as you might create faces with flipped normals. While still being able to adjust the angle in the window after doing the action, you can flip the normals from there too.
I noticed that when working on my model, as I managed to have flipped normals after using the spin tool.

rotate 360 or -360.

Has to become a habit to check normal facing directions now and again. The overlays dropdown is good for that, just tick the ‘Face Orientation’ box. You want to see blue. Select all, Alt N, recalculate outside usually fixes all.
