Characters use death animation under strange condition

I noticed that if we do not have the Transition Rule from Dead → Alive (and we just have the rule from Alive → Dead), the character death animations are played on game start – even when IsDead is false. Why is that animation being played if that condition is not met?

I’m not quite sure but I assume there’s a timing issue and it’s very very briefly false to start with.
