Character floating

Hi all,

Wanted to start with saying I am loving this course so far! Coming from ToonTanks, it is really great to really understand some of the stuff we did there and are doing here again like the camera + springarm.

That said, I got a question. I had this issue in ToonTanks as well actually, and that is t hat my character is not standing on the floor. See below for a screenshot. It is floating a few cm above the ground. I tried to fix this in ToonTanks endlessly but wasnt able to, and now I got the same issue.

Could anyone help me out?

How have you positioned your mesh within the blueprint? The capsule component is what is used for movement and collision so that would be the “actual” feet of the character.
