I am following the Course for Section 2 Obstacle assault (Character Collisions) He is explaining to me how to setup the collisions on the mesh for my character to be moved when standing still I attempt to follow along and it seems to me that when i plug in the same instructions my character loses his ability to moves with AWSD he just walks forward as if the collisions is not working right. Example with picture
I am Showing what I have up on the left for my monitor where i am learning the class and on the right my unreal engine blueprint and what is happening when i try to move
So apparently using Tick is based on the description on comment below suggest to use Event Actor Begin Overlap is fixes the issue and does what it suggests as above in class. It still seems a bit glitchy when the object hits me so not sure if this can be resolved I am using a Nvidia laptop 3080
