There are just so many characters to choose from. I thought I better keep it humanoid and very simple as it is my first model. Mr and Mrs Potato Head from toy story came to mind as they should be easy to model, but they weren’t quite human enough.
I am not good at drawing so I shamelessly surfed the web looking for a suitable character. This steampunk girl might be a bit difficult. Without all the kit she is wearing the coat shouldn’t be too hard, and the drawing is nice and clear. The artist’s name is on the drawing but I didn’t note which site I got it from.
If she is too difficult I will try a more simple design.
