Character and AI movement gone crazy

On the Creating a Torch lesson, after adding the torch to the player character, the movement of my character became weird (it was perfect before). He veers off to the side when pressing any movement key. When I crouch movement is normal, but pressing C no longer makes him stand again. When I removed the torch movement returned to normal. I added the torch to continue the lessons and have had movement issues since. Now I’m in the Throwing and Detection lesson I added a torch to my AI Guard and his movement has gone weird too. Any ideas why?

If I had to make an educated guess, you haven’t disabled collision in the torch blueprint (make sure all static mesh components have collision disabled).

Thanks for the reply (loving the course btw). This solved the problem thanks. I had disabled collision in the wraps of the torch but not the handle!
