Changing Multiple values Key

Just a quick note, In the video you mentioned about holding CTRL to edit multiple values at the same time. I found that I had to hold ALT instead. Just incase anyone else was having the same trouble finding that out, because it could be VERY helpful later.

This could be to do with a version change or possibly a hotkey change (maybe?)

Good Luck!

I cannot get it to work . If I press ctrl and what exactly? ctrl + j I get a very big list long list of # and functions. Alt + i I get the bell sound. Alt + cursor I can move the line of code up and down.
Thanks. VS 2019

Just ALT + left click, its about selecting and editing multiple positions at the same time. I’m not able to replicate “moving a line of code up and down” But when I ALT + left click, it places another cursor and both are used simultaneously.

ALT + i and CTRL + j are both completely different shortcuts. Try using CTRL or ALT and left clicking, as mentioned the Instructor says CTRL, but I found I had to use ALT

Hope this helps
