I decided to model a lamp that I have in my room for the final challenge. I wanted to put light sources inside all three of the shades and have it light up the scene like it does in my room, but when I do that it doesn’t come out right. I tried increasing the value of the light sources but it doesn’t look right either. I think it has something to do with the material I chose for the lamp shades (Translucent BSDF), but we have’t covered materials super in-depth yet. My solution was to just add a spot lamp over the scene, but this creates unrealistic shadows. Any suggestions on how to improve this for later?
