Cell fracture and physics

Hey folks. I’ve started the visual effects course, which has been good. I’m doing the building destruction section, but I’m encountering quite a few niggles with rigid bodies exploding, even when they aren’t touching any other objects.

I’ve checked the normals of the geometry before fracturing and made sure there aren’t any holes. I’ve made sure to move the original objects out of the way before adding rigid body settings to the pieces.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Please give full screenshots with any questions. With the relevant panels open.
This can be done by Blender itself, via the ‘Window’ menu bar top left-hand side.
On that menu dropdown is ‘save screenshot’.
Also, if possible, include the lecture time and name/number that is relevant to the problem/issue.
