Here is my version. I was experimenting with a possible mushroom or tree shape for the castle along with the more basic ones and the ones similar to the ones in the video.

Your concepts are interesting. Can I suggest you that when you sketch try to use a much finer brush and maybe instead of black use a shade of grey. It helps you create lighter sketches and gives you a feeling very similar to what you would have with paper and pencil.
