Can't ToonTanks Project. "Couldn't set association for Project. Check if the..."

I’ve been trying to troubleshoot this problem for a while. I copied a file named “UnrealVersionSelector.exe” to the Unreal win64 folder, as some Yt tutorials suggested. I searched through this same GameDev.tv community forum and stumbled upon just two people with the same problem, one that didn’t unzip the file, and the other one a moderator answered suggesting something about folder permissions, kinda vague but I tried to go down that path to get stuck again.

Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience

What if you remove ._ from the file name?

Hey, it didn’t work either
NameFileChange

What permissions does that folder have? Do you use any antivirus software?

I have the default antivirus that comes with Windows. And the permissions I wouldn’t really know, but I’ll attach a picture to see if that helps?

So, I figured out how to solve this myself. The GameDev.TV team was of no help at all and basically, a week went by with vague answers that didn’t really help at all, I received more span to buy more of their courses than actual help with the course I already have.

Anyhow, any person having this issue, is a problem with how they upload a file of some sort. People on windows might experience this because what I had to do to solve this, was use a Mac. For some reason, everything appeared within a folder named _MACOSX. So that’s what brought me to believe that there might be a compatibility issue with the OS, or that it wasn’t extracted correctly because it was on Windows or something? Long Story short I downloaded it on a Mac then I passed the files to my actual Windows PC and it worked just fine. So if anyone encounters this they might give it a try.
