Can't manage to bake a normal map


My normal map looks strange with the 0.02 max ray distance. In the tutorial it’s called just “Ray distance” Is this just a different name or why does he has different settings?

Try to search on this forum, because someone else had the same problems.

  • Set smooth shading on the low and high poly
  • Be sure to work on the correct high low poly versions
  • Lower max ray distance
  • apply scales
  • more but I forgot …
