I am following the course. I am doing the task while watching the video. Why it does not let me connect them? I have literally follow the same steps as the video does.
I think that works in the video because of the Early Access nature of UE5 during recording of the video (in other words, that was a bug). Normally the behaviour you’re experiencing is what you would expect because the event you’re trying to bind needs to make the same outputs.
You can do what Stephen immediately after that part of the lecture or you can drag off the Event pin in the BindEvent node to then make a custom event that way, which will make the correct event node for you.
