I followed everything but when I pressed the play button I couldn’t make it behave the way it was supposed to; the car started moving right away and I couldn’t move the car with the arrow keys.
It also shows some sort of error/warning code as shown in the pic, but I’m not sure if it’s relevant.

It’s a simple fix. You didn’t actually assign the steerAmount and moveAmount to the transform.Rotate function.
The warning actually tells you this in a…roundabout way.

Don’t feel dumb. It took me some time, to see what was wrong, but sometimes a new pair of eyes or a different perspective is what’s needed.
