I’m currently watching section “Controlling the Viewport” of " Unreal Engine C++ Developer: Learn C++ and Make Video Games" GameDev.tv course and I’m trying to access the terminal by pressing the Tab key on my laptop. However whatever I’m typing isn’t displaying onto the screen/terminal. Could not find an answer here either. Any help would be appreciated!

Are you playing in the viewport and did you click inside it once you started playing?
I am having the same problem did you already solve it?
Solved: first have to click mouse control in the upper-left of the viewport.
